My name is Avery Hall and I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Washington State University and will graduate May 2024. My goals are to attend graduate school and build a career as a cosmetic chemist. I made the Dean's List in 2020 and maintain strong skills in time management, organization, teamwork, problem solving, active listening, and various lab techniques; such as titration, liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, and extraction while executing lab safety. Currently, I work as a research assistant under Dr. Clowers, gaining hands-on analytical chemistry experience focused on drug product stability testing. Academically, I demonstrate mathematical strength through advanced coursework and received the Beverley Casebier Memorial Scholarship in Chemistry multiple times. With my analytical abilities, professional experience, and passion to uncover the science behind cosmetics, I am well-poised to continue growing in the chemistry field. My fascination with the intersection of science and beauty led me to develop an interest in cosmetic chemistry. I envision a career where I can blend my scientific knowledge with a creative flair, contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable beauty products.
