As an office manager and a full-time student, I wrote and deposited checks, created check registers, filed and organized documents, worked on proposals with a deadline, monitored profit and loss for the company, and worked with suppliers and subcontractors on billing. I am also did human resource functions such as hiring and payroll. In addition, my other job requirements were fulfilling state and federal government business and tax requirements, such as calculating and reporting New Mexico gross receipts taxes, as well as applying for grants and grant reimbursements through the State of New Mexico Finance Authority. I do this work both on site as well as remotely from school. July 2021: Contributed to the winning proposal for a $250,000 CMaR project for Artesia General HospitalMay 2022-Present: Applying for reimbursements through the New Mexico LEDA Grant portal June 2022: Organized the formation of a new Limited Liability Company for property management, including obtaining all necessary documentation and navigating state and federal government interfacesJuly 2022: Became proficient in utilizing job posting websites to advertise for new positions at the company, which led to the successful hire of new full-time employeesJune 2023: Oversight of cost control for the company including monitoring employee expenditures and budgeting for projects.
