Operation Breakthrough is a nonprofit organization that creates a safe environment for children in poverty from grades pre-k through high school. Operation Breakthrough provides advocacy, education, and inspiration for the kids, especially as early childhood education is not widely available below the poverty line and can be pivotal to a child's success in higher learning.As a teacher's assistant, I coordinated Covid-friendly field trips, lunch and snack times, and helped kids reach first-grade level reading, writing, and math skills.
