Over the past several years I have taken what I learned in school and applied it to my career as an Applications Engineer. Through this roll I have been able to improve help improve throughput and reduce the amount of injury for my customers by providing solutions which replace manual lifting with automated processes.I have had to quickly understand the automated process that are being integrated by our customers and identify the systems that must go in place to safely handle the customers product. Once I have identified what systems need to be in place I conceptualize and present the system to my customers and provide them a quote. Once the equipment is purchased, I will help manage the system through delivery and troubleshooting as needed.To be successful, I have had to work with the respective teams in my organization such as sales, design, assembly, shipping, etc,. and the customer to make sure deliverables exceed customer expectations. This involves virtual meetings, design reviews, and onsite visits with customers to ensure proper form fit and function of the equipment.
