I am a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a double major in Geography and Sustainability Studies, along with double minors in Government and Philosophy of Law. My academic journey has fueled my drive to understand and address the impacts of climate change, natural resource management, and sustainable planning. In May 2023, I had the enriching experience of studying abroad in Australia, focusing on policies affecting the Great Barrier Reef. Building on my abroad experience, I am currently collaborating with the same faculty to mentor this year's abroad group and conduct further research on water quality policies in Australia. Beyond academia, I dedicate my time to working with Kindergarten to 2nd graders in public schools within Austin ISD, using art projects to teach social activism topics. In my free moments, you can find me reading, crocheting, or enjoying the company of my cat, Boots! Hook 'em!
