As SunFunder's Portfolio Director, a senior leader in SunFunder's Risk Department, Avi leads the team responsible for fund portfolio and loan performance reports. He also runs the development of tools and processes to improve SunFunder's due diligence, analysis, and monitoring activities. Avi previously led SunFunder's investments in the Pay-As-You-Go solar sector and continues to assist with client relationship management. Prior to joining SunFunder, Avi led Market Analysis at Lumos, a leading provider of solar home systems in West Africa. Avi led clean energy project investments by the Sustainable Energy Trust, a nascent green banking program he helped found. Early in his career, Avi served as a Special Operations Weather Team leader in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan College of Engineering, the Naval Postgraduate School, and the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
