Established a new repair facility for diverse equipment and armament of the Indian Army in Assam and headed a talent pool of 150 professionals with varied domain specialization. Taught and authored Book on Science and Military Technology for staff college aspirants. Headed operations of a digital cineplex as a tie up with UFO Pictures. Established and headed a retail store which returned a five fold improvement in turnover in two years.

As DGM(Materials), entrusted with procurement of material, spares and expendables for the biggest armament overhaul facility in India. Handled inventory of over 20,000 items in varying range and depth. Other responsibilities included vendor development, liaison with government ordnance factories, asset building through public works and running of club.

Taught Mechanical Engineering students subjects like IC Engines, Automotive Technology, Power Plant Engg, Workshop Technology and Tribology as part of professorial assignment at one of the top military engg colleges in the world. Worked as chief instructor construction plant at the faculty of electrical and mechanical engg at the college. Additionally worked as Secretary of the prestigious Officers Institute at the college which hosted foreign diplomats and senior military leaders including heads of foreign armies. Organised mega social events like The May Queen Ball, theme parties and formal banquets.

Responsible for maintenance of a fleet of diverse mechanical, electronic, opto-electronic, electrical equipment including vehicles, earth moving plant, hydraulic machines, radio sets, IT assets etc for the stated mission reliability. Validated extended maintenance support during critical off site operational exigencies through efficient supply chain management and resource mobilisation.

Led a team of trained technicians and supervisors in an Engineering Support Workshop directly responsible for equipment maintenance of a division of Indian Army as part of its asset management function. Ensured 24 x7 Uptime of VIP fleet, offsite maintenance for extended operations, technology absorption as part of modernisation and on-the-job training of new recruits. Headed the Workshop towards the end of tenure.

Shift Head at Press Shop. Worked in the field of powder metallurgy including compaction, sintering and grinding. Consistently exceeded production targets maintaining highest quality standards. Was a key member during ISO 9000 implemantation at the plant. Recommended and implemented cleanilness drive at the plant as part of Quality Circle and won accolades.
