I have a background in graphic design, web design, photography, video/audio and animation editing. More recently, I was the Senior Designer at OneView Business Solutions located in Charlotte, North Carolina. OneView was a start-up company that provided financial and creative services to small businesses in the Charlotte area. Initially, I was responsible for the graphic identity and visual branding of OneView that included logo and collateral design as well as web design using the Wordpress content management system. After the initial visual branding of the company, I was promoted to Lead Graphic Designer and put in artistic charge of the company’s bi-monthly magazine, which was named Charlotte Relocate. I redesigned the logo and magazine layout; I coordinated assets, such as articles, images, advertisements, and photography and edited those for insertion in the magazine template I created. I worked with a team of graphic designers, photographers, and writers to create Charlotte Relocate. Charleston Relocate magazine was seen by 800,000 people bi-monthly in the Charlotte area under my visual direction for over two years. I have also been recognized by a community of my peers. In 2010 I was the recipient of 4 local Addy Awards, finishing with 3 silvers- one for individual poster campaign, another for digital illustration, and a third for team poster campaign. I also won a bronze for the product packaging category. The team poster winner was a part of a campaign initiated by the Charleston Area Regional Transport Authority (also known as CARTA) with the “Are You Riding Alternative” slogan. The winners works were featured in downtown Charleston businesses, points of interest and was seen by 120,000 residents and 250,000 tourists.
