I am a multidisciplinary scientist with 10 years of laboratory experience currently researching, developing, and producing viral vectors at FDA CBER to deliver custom gene therapy products inside human cells. Over the course of my career, I have utilized sound science and cutting-edge biomedical technology to produce safe, pure, potent, and effective biological products for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of human diseases and conditions. My academic training has exposed me to principles and theories of microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and immunology, as well as led me to a mastery of medical sciences necessary for critical science-based decision-making. Additionally, my practical experience with various infectious agents, my understanding of the modern laboratory techniques, my background of researching, developing, and applying new and improvised technical approaches, and my efforts with computer modeling have made me a passionate civil servant, striving to maximize the beneficial impact of my work for the greater public good.
