• Provide technical assistance in installation and maintenance of company equipment. • Visit customer site to install and test equipment for proper functioning. • Perform equipment upgrades as per customer requirements. • Analyse equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions. • Develop improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability. • Develop preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures. • Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements. • Maintain documentations for equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for reference purposes. • Provide 24x7 support for troubleshooting equipment. • Test and approve worked-on equipment before handing off to production. • Develop cost-reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality and productivity. • Provide job assistance and conduct job trainings for employees as needed. • Act as primary contact for equipment performance related questions and concerns.

• Investigate faults with both electrical / hydraulic circuits diagrams and the manufacturers specification manuals.• Participate in the Daily Safety Meeting, take the opportunity to give operational, general orientation, make comments on safety and give motivation messages.• Guarantee the execution of Preventive Maintenance’s, Backlog’s and Programmed components exchanges in line with detailed weekly program daily adjusted by the scheduler.• Require specific training as needed and daily perform on the job training for mechanics, in the correct filling out of work orders, PM checklists, and safe working procedures.• Organise the repairs and assess parts of replacement.• Submit daily reports to the workshop superintendent.Leadership/Management roles:• Responsible for the Maintenance bay – ensure that the services and backlogs are performed on machines on a daily basis

• In the field Execute the Daily Inspections of machines in operation, download VIMS and TPMS.• Kill Backlogs using ,as reference, Maintenance Manuals and other technical literature pertinent to perform trouble-shooting and repairs.• Remove and install major machine components.• Troubleshooting and fault findings on all CAT and other Heavy-Duty Equipment’s on site (workshop and in the pit) using both the Electrical and hydraulic schematic diagrams. • Use CAT ET for the diagnostic active codes and changing configuration, and all other types of calibrations.• Implements the Mines Operational policies to ensure conformity with Ghana Mine Regulations and International best practices such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.• Maintain records, prepares and submits reports, requisitions, supplies and equipment.
