• Guarantee the execution of Preventive Maintenance’s, Backlog’s and Programmed components exchanges in line with detailed weekly program daily adjusted by the scheduler.
• Require specific training as needed and daily perform on the job training for mechanics, in the correct filling out of work orders, PM checklists, and safe working procedures.
• Organise the repairs and assess parts of replacement.

• Kill Backlogs using,as reference, Maintenance Manuals and other technical literature pertinent to perform trouble-shooting and repairs.
• Remove and install major machine components.
• Troubleshooting and fault findings on all CAT and other Heavy-Duty Equipment’s on site (workshop and in the pit) using both the Electrical and hydraulic schematic diagrams.
• Use CAT ET for the diagnostic active codes and changing configuration, and all other types of calibrations.
• Implements the Mines Operational policies to ensure conformity with Ghana Mine Regulations and International best practices such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
