Project Manager
Current• Assemble engineering data into submittals for Engineer approval • Provide technical specifications and drawings as required for potential jobs/submittals • Resolve all credit or billing questions related to the sale • Manage all functions of new generator sales including issuing purchase orders to vendors • Track submittal process, respond to engineers/ EC'S (define this) questions to submittals • Issue purchase orders/order equipment from approved submittals or as directed by the customer without delay • Work with sales and management staff to understand job status and expected delivery dates • Work with territory managers for any bid requiring planned maintenance pricing, service departments for start-up costs • Negotiate prices with vendors to maximize profitability • Coordinate equipment delivery and installation ofturn-key projects • Coordinate start-up, testing and training with service departments • Review specifications and create sales quotes through 1-Pass or other vendors in preparation of nev equipment proposals • Create new equipment proposals for sales staff, territory managers sales engineers, or managemei as required. • Work with bid center to find new equipment sales opportunities • Track job progress • Coordinate vendor invoices to prepare customer invoices • Coordinate with rental department as required • Provide updates on sales profitability and assist in forecasting sales Provide feedback to MTU-OE RSM and requested • Manage project costs and margins • Communicate with customers during projects relative to costs and progress • Present final job reports to customers • Project evaluations and assessment of results • Have a thorough knowledge of PPS products and services, obtained with training and experier • Negotiate with clients on projects regarding job scope and pricing.
