I'm an inquisitive, creative-minded data scientist with a background in theater and education. Technical experience with Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn, Keras, TensorFlow, SQL, Docker, MongoDB, Spark, AWS.Nothing excites me more than telling a great story. Being able to make that connection with individuals, finding just the right balance of narrative elements, tone, and pace, seeing that story resonate with an audience. Throughout my professional and academic careers, this passion for communication and storytelling has been the common thread.And that's exactly what I find so compelling about data science: its capacity to find that story, to find patterns and meaning in the world. There’s a narrative to be uncovered that can be both fascinating and highly consequential. Those are the stories I want to tell, and data science gives me the tools discover them. But I think that's only half the battle. A story is only as good as the impact it makes on its audience. Condensing and translating complex information in a way that's palatable to a wider audience, finding the right way to present that information that creates lasting, meaningful understanding. These are the skills I've honed over the years of teaching and performance, and having the chance to apply them in the more technically rigorous field of data science is my driving passion.
