I am interested in SDN architecture, network security, reliability and robustness of massively distributed systems, network protocol design and implementation, policy-based configuration and operation of network elements, and network traffic analysis and monitoring.Before Northeastern, I was a Senior Architect at Akamai Technologies and responsible for improving the scalability and reliability of the systems that safely distributed customer and system configuration metadata in Akamai's production network to over 200,000 servers world-wide. Before Akamai, I was a network scientist who was a principal investigator/technical lead/project manager of US Government (DARPA, DHS HSARPA, AFOSR) and commercially funded R&D projects on high speed network architecture design, SDN architecture, network security, network protocol design and implementation, policy-based configuration and operation of network elements and network traffic analysis and monitoring. I have over 20 published papers, 4 patents, and am a Senior Member of the IEEE and ACM.
