This role utilizes many of the skills learned through the other roles in Aruba, including technical marketing, product marketing, leading a restructuring of the core training curriculum, and building Aruba’s certification program. Andy is also heavily involved in Aruba's customer forum called Airheads, both online and at the event where he is consistently one of the highest rated presenters.Prior to Aurba Andy has various technical roles at companies. At HP in Boise Andy worked through Adecco technical debugging large multi-function printer firmware and building an internal bug tracking web site in PHP. While at Nortel Networks Andy worked on and then led an SE help desk, eventually moving into a technical marketing role. Andy's role at 3Com was as a post sales engineer, which unfortunately ended rather quickly when 3Com exited the networking market in 2000. Prior to that Andy worked for NorthPoint Communications in San Francisco, working as a help desk technician and taking on temporary leadership of the team.
