I wrote the Android version of a vector drawing application using a partial implementation of SVG (not supported in most versions of Android at that time) and adapting a point reduction algorithm designed in Windows Phone 7 to Android’s multiple resolutions and densities. The app required a great deal of custom animation, allowing drawings to be replayed.I wrote a lightweight, fast and smooth scrolling image gallery with look-ahead image load and a custom zoom implementation allowing very high resolution images to be displayed in the limited RAM budget of an Android application.
