About Axel Dreyer

Almost 30 years position as professor. Research focus for several years food and wine tourism. Last publication: book "Reisen zum Wein - Weintourismus zwischen Reben, Vinotheken und Kultur" (2021, publisher's text: indispensable reading for winemakers and destination managers. Also for tourism science a comprehensive reference book). Co-initiator of numerous scientific meetings and conferences on wine tourism (e.g. CWTC - Culinary and Wine Tourism Conference).Main research topics with further publications: Cycle Tourism (currently planning a new edition), Cultural Tourism (3rd edition published in 2020).Additional research interests: Other forms of sports tourism and customer management/service quality.
