Leading the Abbey Park HOSA chapter for the 2023-2024 school year by organizing preparations for the school year, including planning events and timelines, developing updates to the club, and collaborating with the 2023-2024 executive team to develop plans and prepare materials for the upcoming year.

Competed in the SLC competition under the Public Health event. Co-developed an engaging presentation on technology addiction that won Top 10 nationally.

- Tracked attendance for 80+ members throughout the school year for weekly meetings and events- Organized, planned and led a Q&A event with two former Chapter Presidents to guide members through university applications and preparing to pursue a career in medicine- Organized a Krispy Kreme fundraiser that sold 65 dozen donuts and generated over $300 in funds to be put towards club events for the 2023-2024 school year

Responsible for maintaining the overall well-being of the club and ensuring logistics and operations of the magazine run smoothly, including the publication of our two issues per year (Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer), club meetings and other club events.

- Led Eagle Ink's Social Issues Committee by selecting a team of individuals passionate about activism to spread awareness about Indigenous socio-economic discrimination in Canada- Delegated articles for each of our two yearly issues regarding Indigenous socio-economic discrimination, achieving 7 articles written throughout the school year - Wrote two articles on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) and healthcare inequity in Indigenous communities- Ensured organization throughout the club through secretarial responsibilities

- Developed a new system and timeline for marketing and posting about Eagle Ink issue publications, meetings and events through Instagram -> began seasonally themed weekly posts informing members of meetings, events and updates- Spearheading the design, upkeep and up-keeping of the new Eagle Ink website throughout the school year- Planned two issue-release parties during the school year, including games, activities, food and movies

The Girls Belong Here initiative is part of a global movement to amplify girls’ voices, advocate for their rights and elevate their position in society. Selected to participate in the Seat Share program with Fighting Blindness Canada, working with leaders from FBC to promote gender equity and inclusivity. - Connected with FBC leaders and community members and learned about FBC's cause and action to fund research preventing blindness and provide support to individuals with vision loss in Canada- Gained insightful knowledge about the experiences of women in the field of vision research and young people in Canada living with vision loss- Initiated meaningful conversation with FBC leaders about the experiences of women in the workplace as well as gender diversity in the workplace- Attended FBC's Young Leaders conference in Toronto, acting as a sight guide for individuals with vision loss at the conference to facilitate easy movement in locations including Ripley's Aquarium and between venues
