Worked with Generations Senior Living in Calgary to implement a smartwatch-based fall detection system. We used a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 to detect falls and immediately call the staff whenever a fall was detected. We also told the caregiver the location of the senior based on a tracking system that used Bluetooth beacons to determine the watch's location.We learned a lot from being at home and got to first-hand see how users interact with our product.
