Transportation Intern

Tulsa, Oklahoma Area

I worked on two major research projects as the Transportation Intern at INCOGTulsa Transit Ridership Data:A bus stop level data collection effort was undertaken to understand transit usage in specified areas, determine the ridership of sections of the route that deviated from the main route and to develop a prioritized list of locations for new sheltered bus stops.Data was collected manually in the months of June and July 2015. The final report summarizes the results of this data collection effort and makes recommendations for the elimination of route loops and locations for new bus shelters. See full report below.Tulsa Tails Bicycle and Pedestrian Counts:The purpose of data collection was to document the usage of the Tulsa Area Trail System and provide evidence on which future recommendations can be made. Counting and surveying existing trails was needed to learn user habits and desires for future trails. Without the information that comes from an observation study there is little evidence to base justification for expansion of a trail or multiuse path network. In 2010, INCOG began the bi-annual process of collecting trail count data. 2015 is the third year for collecting data. New count data will assist with the evaluation of the trails by determining the changes in usage between 2010 and 2015. See full report below.

Graduate Research Assistant, Schusterman Library

As a GRA, I provide reference services to students, faculty and staff in-person, by telephone, and using virtual chat.
