Attentively monitor real-time train operations on dispatch screens and radio channels.Receive service and emergency calls by telephone, radio system or emergency call button.Effectively operate and communicate via radio systems within the Brightline network.Obtain information from callers to ascertain the necessary data to determine an appropriate course of action.Communicate with the Dispatch Center to gather information and accurately record train delays.Create and maintain logs of all calls received and prepare reports as necessary. Monitor emergency incidents and give direction to field units as well as first responders.Receive and send information to and from every area of the company, keeping the flow of communication open, on a 24-hour basis.Notify Brightline teams of service interruptions or other incidents via established communications protocols.Prepare delay reports and service status briefings.Succinctly communicate essential information to field managers and senior leaders during service interruptions and incidents.Participate in drills and emergency simulations; be fully acquainted with all emergency procedures and be able to take immediate action in accordance with the Brightline incident procedures.
