At TikTok, I led the content design strategy for innovative, zero-to-one generative AI tools and products within the Monetization team. I collaborated with cross-functional partners to develop user-friendly solutions that connected brands, agencies, and advertisers with over 700,000 creators on TikTok through the Creator Marketplace.In addition to my strategic work, I played a key role in fostering a culture of collaboration. I co-created and facilitated workshops to elevate the content design skills of my team, hosted content design critique sessions across the US and China, and maintained TikTok’s comprehensive 1000+ term glossary as the US point of contact.My work focused on creating streamlined, accessible experiences that drive monetization while ensuring consistency across the TikTok platform.

I worked on the health team, and our goal was to make Twitter more inclusive, accountable, and equitable for the people who use it. To help achieve this, I designed, wrote, edited, tested, and improved product features relating to user privacy, safety, and more.My role is highly collaborative. I work closely with peers in every discipline, including engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science, to take products from conception to launch and create #OnlyOnTwitter experiences.

I was the Lead Communication Specialist at NewPublica, a Minneapolis-based strategic communications firm that specializes in communications tailored to underrepresented communities. I wore multiple hats and juggled different projects. These ranged from intensive listening sessions to better inform social advocacy campaigns for clients, to crafting accessible content for a variety of different mediums.I led the content strategy, UX, and copywriting efforts on my team and ensured our creative efforts align with both client and user goals.

I worked closely with Superhuman's creative team to surpass client expectations on projects. Some of my tasks in this role included creating voice and tone guidelines for copy directions, rebranding organization identities, and formulating wireframes for web redesigns.

I was responsible for creating, editing, and managing content for 14 sites on the Office of the Vice President for Research Department at the University of Minnesota. Some of my duties included formulating and executing the content strategy and information architecture strategically organizing information on their website, and writing fresh content to help University of Minnesota faculty in their research efforts.

I collaborated with a team of 12 other students from different college campuses around the state managing a statewide nonprofit organization. During my time as board member, I handled a multi-thousand dollar budget, assisted in the implementation a new health policy to further solidify the security of the organization's members, and proposed a one-year public policy plan for the organization to focus its efforts on taking down the 'school to prison pipeline'.

I co-spearheaded a team of 8-12 students within the University to focus on promoting awareness to social issues affecting University of Minnesota Students and other marginalized people within the Minneapolis area. Events planned include Take Back the Night, an annual event collaborated with Minneapolis Community & Technical College to advance awareness of sexual assault on college campuses.
