My PhD focuses on developing novel methods for distilling large language models applied in the education and human computer interaction (HCI). I am adept in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Data Science, with over seven years of experience. My skillset is backed by my experience in facilitating cross-functional collaboration between industry and academia and publications in reputed journal and conference. I have spearheaded challenging projects spanning across various domains such as education technology, mental health, clinical decision support systems. I have solved practical probelms in these domains by designing innovative solutions using NLP, ML & DL.Some of my key projects are:1. ASAGLite - Designing state-of-the-art lightweight automatic short answer grading systems (ASAG) using LLMs.2. AI Chatbot for Digital Mental Healthcare - Developed aN AI chatbot for mental healthcare, offering client engagement, sentiment analysis, and actionable insights for professionals.3. Rectilinear Crossing Number and Coloring - Improved the lower bound on the d-dimensional rectilinear crossing number of complete d-uniform hypergraphs with 2D vertices.4.
