As a part of Solvent Energy's executive team, I:- Managed a portfolio of 3.5 GW+ of hybrid and standalone storage projects in ERCOT. - Lead site selection, pre-development, interconnection, land, de-risking (and more) efforts for the company.- Was responsible for all matters related to the engineering of our projects.- Played a critical role in the M&A and due diligence effort of the portfolio

- Currently leading the team responsible for integrating new generation, energy storage and load resources across the United States.- My team can assist with site selection, transmission export analysis, generation project modeling, interconnection applications in all RTO’s/ISO’s, due diligence review, and much more.- The region that my team specializes in is ERCOT and the Western Interconnection.

In my current role, I am leading a team of talented engineers that specialize in assisting generation developers with interconnecting new utility-scale: wind, solar, battery, natural gas and conventional plants on the transmission or distribution system across the United States. Our team provides support throughout all development phases, including: site selection, transmission analysis, interconnection application preparation, preliminary design, steady-state and dynamic modeling, EMTP modeling, testing & commissioning, grid compliance and more. Our team can also guide developers through integration of large loads (such as data centers) on the electric transmission or distribution system.

Led the team that handles the planning of generation requesting interconnection to Oncor's transmission system. The team was responsible for various aspects of the Full Interconnection Studies ("FIS"), including, but not limited to: Steady-State, Stability and SSR studies as well as FIS Assumptions. We had seen a dramatic increase in the number of interconnection requests and I played my part in ensuring that all associated activities were performed in a timely manner while maintaining a professional and courteous working relationship with our clients. I was also Oncor’s representative at ERCOT for the Resource Integration Workshop ("RIW") and Battery Energy Storage Task Force ("BESTF").

Started working at Oncor as of February 11, 2019. I am working on the Generation Interconnection Planning team, which handles all new generation projects connecting to Oncor's transmission system within ERCOT.

Formerly the Engineering Team Lead of the Grid Assessment Team within Transmission Planning. Our team was responsible for analyzing SDG&E's transmission system from a steady state thermal, short circuit, transient stability and post transient stability standpoint. We worked closely with the CAISO in performing the yearly Transmission Planning Process (TPP). We presented projects to the CAISO annually to improve the reliability and resiliency of our electric system. I had previously been the Engineering Team Lead of the Generation Interconnection Team within Transmission Planning for 1 year. Our team studied upcoming generation projects interconnecting into SDG&E-owned facilities. We worked very closely with the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) in performing our yearly studies. I have overseen several Cluster studies, namely: Cluster 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 as well as Reassessment 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

My main responsibilities included: Running steady state, short circuit, transient and post-transient analyses. I have worked mainly on the Generation Interconnection side, specifically for Clusters 6, 7 and 8 as well as Reassessment 2014 and 2015. I worked closely with the CAISO (California Independent System Operator) on all my projects. I was in charge of analyzing WDATs (Wholesale Distribution Access Tariff) from the Transmission side as well other special projects such as Material Modification requests, COD (Commercial Operation Date) studies and many others.

Previously worked as an Engineer I (at SDG&E, an Engineer I is higher than Engineer II) in the Generation Interconnection department of Transmission Planning. Handled Large (and Small) Generation Interconnection Customers who would like to connect to our Transmission (and Distribution) System, through various Substations across our service territory. Gained experience in running Power Flow models for Steady State, Transient, Post-Transient and Short-Circuit analysis. Learned a great deal about the regulatory framework of SDG&E through my work with the CAISO, FERC and CPUC.Became proficient at using our Transmission Planning analysis tools, which are: PSLF for Steady State and Transient Analysis, Aspen One-Liner for Short Circuit Analysis and VSAT for Post-Transient Analysis.

I previously worked as the Distribution Planning Engineer for San Diego's North Coast District. I have learned a great deal about system load forecasting, planning for future distribution capacity, major projects, capacity for major customers and the overall planning cycle.I became highly effective at using SynerGEE to analyze our Distribution system and propose millions of dollars worth of projects that would upgrade our system to meet the increasing demand of San Diego residents.

My first full-time engineering position out of college!I was on the Associate Engineer Program and did three 6-month rotations at the following departments:1. Northeast Construction and Operations (District Engineer)2. Condition-Based Maintenance Substation Project (Project Engineer)3. Transmission Engineering and Design (Transmission Engineer)

Worked as the lead engineer on a project that involves renewable energy, namely solar photovoltaic. This project has taught me to meet objectives with minimum supervision. Gained exposure to a significant amount of hands-on labor with the technicians and gave me a great deal of exposure to the operation and maintenance of load banks.

During the summer of 2008, I was a full-time intern at the Eastern District of San Diego. I have gained extensive experience in electrical distribution systems (overhead and underground) construction and operations, circuit balancing, voltage mitigation, distribution circuit design and circuit reliability. I investigated technical claims and dealt with a great deal of customer service issues. I regularly presented circuits (for upgrades) to the Reliability Assessment Team, biweekly. Minimum project costs were $100,000.

Worked on the design and implementation of wiring diagrams and build-to-packages (bundles) in the Electrical Wiring Design group on the C-130 Avionics Modernization Program (AMP). My specialization was in lighting.
