I founded Amaranth Capital, an investment management business which follows a value investing strategy. I am responsible for all investment aspects in Amaranth, including idea generation, business analysis & valuation, macro monitoring, as well as the overall risk management process.My main goal when starting Amaranth was to provide investors with a liquid investment alternative that can generate substantial capital gains over the long-term. Amaranth targets to provide at least a 20% average annual return, while also beating the passive benchmarks. Since inception in 2020, the strategy has generated an average return of 30%+ per year, outperforming the S&P 500 for 4 consecutive years.My passion for investing started during my career in M&A and Private Equity at Innimmo, where I had the opportunity to participate in several private transactions, as well as to learn about multiple different businesses from the inside. It was during this time where I started reading about Warren Buffett's and Benjamin Graham's way of investing, and it struck me how similar value investing was to the way we were looking at private companies at Innimmo. I became obsessed with wanting to apply these same principles to public companies, as the equity investment universe is limitless and there are always opportunities waiting to be found.
