As a seasoned startup executive and successful founder, I help ideas spring to life and grow. I have a passion for taking products from concept to fully developed reality and then executing a go-to-market strategy that drives accelerated growth for startups. My proven track record as a product leader has demonstrated a unique combination of creativity and relentless analytical focus to deliver product innovation well ahead of the market. With almost 15 years of experience as lead product designer and working with UI / UX, I bring hands-on expertise to my leadership roles, allowing for the ability to seamlessly interact across various departments and functions. This skill has proven critical to my success within the startup world. I believe the key to developing and launching a successful product is understanding the needs of the market and uncovering an innovative way to serve a lucrative market with a product that addresses unmet needs. With Boomerang, we achieved exactly that. Email had been around for nearly 40 years, but we didn’t see enough innovation to keep up with the new problems and the current technology available. We saw a need and created a product that people love and that solved problems. That led to exponential growth in just a few short years, launching three category-creating products. As a thought leader in the industry, I have had the opportunity to speak at multiple major events on topics ranging from productivity, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and product design. Highlights include the O’Reilly AI Conference, MIT AI Conference, SXSW, Women in Product SF, and Techstars Global Startup Weekend in Sacramento. My thoughts on these topics can be found in publications such as Forbes, WSJ, CNBC, Fast Company, Inc, and Business Insider.
