Responsible for promoting the vision, mission, and purpose of the Northwest High Performance Enterprise Consortium (NWHPEC) by providing superior learning experiences to strengthen the capabilities of our consortium member companies as they strive to achieve business excellence. In this role, I also provide mentoring and coaching to individuals within the NWHPEC membership. I enjoy collaborating with others to develop a better understanding of the purpose and direction for their organization.

• Facilitate the translation of the corporate continuous improvement vision into a corporate strategy and implementation plan by managing continuous improvement activities throughout the company.• Develop and facilitate lean centered training programs based on customer requirements.• Drive a process improvement mindset throughout the organization by providing resources for identifying, analyzing, and improving key processes using the appropriate tool.• Apply the basic principles, concepts, and tools of continuous improvement across the organization to influence the mindset, behaviors, and thinking required to sustain a Lean culture.• Develop and champion business improvement processes by taking the lead project management role on critical-to-business processes. Includes selecting top resources, setting direction and metrics, and using agile/lean project management methods to lead and support the teams to successfully achieve our objectives.• Led the data management project work stream for AX Dynamics ERP implementation. Facilitated the movement and validation of millions of fields of data with near perfect accuracy two days under plan, allowing us to come online earlier than anticipated.

• Developed documented processes for engineering sustaining and design tasks.• Introduced concepts of tracking First Pass Yield on critical processes, ultimately improving quality and freeing up capacity.• Provided support, oversight, and project management for sustaining and enhancement projects.

• Deployed lean concepts and tools throughout the organization by mentoring supervisors, managers, and directors through the Lean Leadership Program.• Facilitated and coordinated Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, 3P, TPM, and 6S events with a focus on creating capacity, enhancing quality, and implementing Standard Work.• Developed training modules and tested new methods of applying lean to improve quality in the organization.

• Project Manager for international and domestic production line transfers both into and out of the facility (including entire facility closures): lead project teams, create schedules and budgets, monitor inventory, and establish multi-discipline relationships with purchasing, manufacturing, document control, finance, and engineering.• Lean Manufacturing Leader: coordinated multiple events resulting in reductions of labor time, floor space, waste, and inventory levels. Hands-on experience with Kaizen, 5-S, and Lean.• Continuous Process Improvement: Increased efficiencies, eliminate unnecessary steps in the process, and modify floor layouts to increase utilization of space.• New Product Introduction: Design for Manufacturability, production strategy and planning, process documentation, product release, and production ramp up.
