Hello there! I'm Ayesha Tabassum. With a solid foundation as an FAA Airframe and Powerplant technician, I'm currently pursuing a double major in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University at Buffalo. This academic pursuit allows me to merge my practical experience with the theoretical and innovative aspects of aerospace. My fascination with aircraft and aerospace began early in life, and it eventually led me to earn my FAA Airframe and Powerplant technician license coming out of high school. This hands-on experience has provided me with an invaluable understanding of Airframe and Powerplant systems, maintenance, and safety, as well as the importance of precision and attention to detail in the aviation industry. I am eager to complement my academic pursuits with real-world experience. I am actively seeking internship opportunities that will allow me to apply my technical skills, collaborate with industry experts, and contribute to cutting-edge projects in aerospace.I am the Founder and President of the University at Buffalo chapter of Women of Aeronautics & Astronautics (WOAA). I was a 2023 AIAA Scholar, 2024 UB MAE Student Excellence Award recipient, the Propulsion Systems Lead for the UB Design/Build/Fly 2025 team and a very active college student in all pursuits. So, if you are looking for a motivated and skilled aerospace engineering student with a solid background in aviation, I would be honored to join your team and contribute to the exciting journey ahead. Let's reach for the stars together!
