About Ayman Halabya, Phd.

Ayman is the head of product at Reconstruct inc. He has more than 20 years of experience in software product management and UX, architectural design, BIM, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) technology implementation, computer vision, artificial intelligence, construction planning and optimization, and decision analysis. With such a wide range of expertise, Ayman acts as a catalyst to motivate change towards adopting more creative and efficient methods in software design and management, AEC industry, and education. Ayman is a problem solver who likes challenging and fast paced environments where his performance directly influences the end results. His extensive experience and solid leadership skills make a positive contribution to the success of any operation or business development. In his current role as the head of product at Reconstruct Inc., Ayman’s main focus is to simplify UX and create intuitive user interfaces that support user flows throughout the system. He works with Reconstruct customers to define and implement changes to Reconstruct cloud based software for construction management to achieve more benefits and save time and money. He also works cross-functionally with other internal teams at Reconstruct to define GTM strategies and product requirements, then sees them through the development and testing process. Before his role as a product manager, Ayman led the Customer Success team at Reconstruct, where he worked closely with users to drive adoption of the Reconstruct cloud-based construction management software and helped Reconstruct customers develop implementation plans and achieve success by driving benefits from implementing the software in their projects. Ayman has also been teaching several courses, including: creativity, architectural design, construction planning, optimization, computer applications in architecture, construction safety, building technologies, cost estimating, and technical writing for more than 20 years. He received several awards for his excellence in teaching such as the prestigious Mavis Faculty Fellowship, and being included in the List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.Ayman has a proven record of achieving excellence in all his responsibilities, and exceeding the required goals to explore new grounds in science and industry.
