Participated in and facilitated agile ceremonies, such as stand-up, retrospective, and refinement, as well as regular participation in a 24-hour on-call rotation, utilizing Datadog, Splunk, and Lightstep to resolve production issues. Designed and implemented REST APIs in Java, Groovy, and Scala based microservices, to provide an experimental asynchronous resolution to 20,000+ refund requests from diners, and to enable customer service agents to submit, approve, and deny third-party refund requests from up to 26,000 daily orders on average. Wrote RFCs and completed agile Spikes to design technical approaches to persisting messages from 23,000+ daily diner chats with customer service, implementing 150,000+ asynchronous updates of customer service tickets using Kafka, and backfilling 210,000+ records in a Cassandra database using a Python script.

As a research intern, I work with several graduate and undergraduate students to develop an interactive objective modeling tool, that helps school districts to analyze and improve their transportation systems. I mainly work on implementing data visualizations features, to display the various data associated with the results of our optimization model. Currently, we are improving our optimization model for efficiency and accuracy, and we are looking into developing a back-end system that stores a lot of our data on an online database.
