As a Backend Developer at Beyond the Box, my primary responsibilities are:• Server-Side development: I work mainly on the server side of web applications, managing the database queries, server configuration, and logic required to support the frontend.• API Development: I develop APIs that allow communication between different software systems or components. This involved designing API endpoints, handling requests and responses, and ensuring data integrity• Containerization: I utilize Docker to create, deploy, and manage containers containing backend applications and services• Continuous Integration and Deployment: I set up and configure pipelines to help automate build processes, run automated tests, and ensure code quality.• Cloud Infrastructure Management and Deployment: I provision, configure, deploy, and maintain the necessary infrastructure components on AWS, including EC2, Route 53, and S3, to support the backend applications.
