I am an undergraduate research assistant working in the Aerospace Computational Engineering (ACE) group under Professor Elizabeth Qian for the Fall 2024 semester, with a focus on transitioning individual microsimulation epidemiology models to compartmental models with Markov chain processes.

I worked on research and developing automation test frameworks, during which I developed comprehensive Javascript automated tests that reduced the time required for release testing by 80%. During the development of tests, I further optimized for faster navigation and browsing systems in automation tests, reducing test runtime by 16%I also conducted extensive debugging within a large legacy Java codebase using Agile Scrum methodology in collaboration with a team of 10 developers, eliminating null-pointer errors and improving the user experience.

I experimented with manipulating elevation maps in Python to assist in automated texture generation, engineered a model to synthesize variable art generated from a base picture and a live data feed, and revised prompt generation tools to increase the variability in art generated by a single model.

Summer internship working on capacity engineering and testing for TigerGraph's Cloud Machine Learning Workbench.Designed rigorous experiments to explore autoscaling behavior and capacity limitations of company clusters hosted on Google Kubernetes Engine. Simulated loads equivalent to over 200 users by running large-scale graph algorithms and utilizing test automation scripts to assess the SLA percentage for applications in preparation for a live demonstration at KDD.
