Theatre enthusiast and development practitioner, Ayush has been working in development sector since 2014 driven by his values of peace, equity and full potential.Currently working as Sr. Fundraising and Volunteering Officer at Quest since September 2022.Ayush completed his tenure as Fundraising and Communications manager at Ishanya India Foundation in August 2022. Ayush worked on strengthening processes to secure funds from multiple sources and handled the social media communications for the organization. Unlike any other social enterprise employee, Ayush wore a second hat in the organization of a Lifeskills coach where he trained persons with neurodiversity on employability skills. Ayush developed interest in creating inclusive and safe learning spaces during his MA Development course, Azim Premji University in 2019-21. In the second semester he was motivated to study education and development interlinkages where he gained a better understanding of education, skills and livelihoods. His passion for arts and drama encouraged him to study Integrated Arts Based Therapy from Bapu Trust in 2019. He published his report on how integrated arts can help increase self-esteem and help individuals reach full potential in a skills development center. The intervention was done in Lighthouse Communities Foundation (Then Pune City Connect) where he was employed as Executive for Livelihoods and Digital Empowerment program. During his term as Executive, he managed the skilling journey of lighthouse from January 2018 to December 2018 after which he was moved to a Donor Relations where the organization utilized his data analysis skills to produce reports on project impact and report the same to the donors. Before the professional experience, Ayush volunteered in various social work activities in his college since 2014. Ayush has taken each and every leadership opportunity in college and outside. In second year of college, Ayush headed the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the Banking and Insurance department and actively took part in organizing awareness campaigns through street plays and rallies. After the NSS term he went on to join youth run organization, AIESEC which strived to achieve Peace and Fulfilment of Humankinds potential through cross cultural exchanges. After working in multiple departments in AIESEC, he developed skills in Business Development, Project Execution and Impact analysis.
