I am a third-year student at Colorado State University, with interests in engineering and technology. As a civil engineering major, my primary interests lie in transportation, infrastructure, and sustainability, as well as how issues in these categories interact with public policy.I love learning new things across all disciplines: my personal interests range from technology, to the outdoors and natural resources, to art and literature. In my free time, I enjoy crafting in all its forms, cooking, reading, and exploring the outdoors around me. I have a passion for sharing these skills with others in my life, including volunteering with local youth, leading outdoors-related student organizations, and advocating for equity on campus. While I enjoy taking courses, I strive to learn from the world around me and the people in it.My primary skills include written and verbal communication, as well as technical expertise. Having taken courses in political science, public policy, and sociological research, I have a strong background in the social sciences to supplement my engineering skills, allowing me to approach all projects from a holistic, human centered perspective. I gained leadership experience from volunteering with youth, as well as serving as a project lead on a client-facing project for a graduate-level public policy course. I have technical skills in a variety of softwares, including Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, ArcGIS Pro, and Java.
