Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Assurance, my responsibilities encompassed leading and managing the Information System Audit through performing the IT project management consultation, IT Risk Assessment, IT Project Advisory, IT Compliance and preparing annual IT audit plan. The scope of work includes reviewing the adequacy and compliances of the Sime Darby Property systems management and developments with IT governance, security and control practices. Additionally, I also managing operational audit in the area of property development, project accounting and construction.

Projects Development and Implementation of Application System.Involved in various types of system project life cycle are mainly focusing on the management, security and controls of the system, during the development stage, user acceptance test and implementation stage. Job responsibilities include participating actively in computer disaster recovery exercise conducted by DRE team and ensure adequate preparation in the event of an actual disaster; to measure the recovery teams’ ability to restore the organization mainframe system and applications files at CRC etc.Computer Disaster Recovery Exercise (CDRE) Participating actively in computer disaster recovery exercise conducted by DRE team and ensure adequate preparation in the event of an actual disaster; to measure the recovery teams’ ability to restore the organization mainframe system and applications files at CRC etc.Bank Merger Exercise During bank merger exercise between Mayban Finance and KBB Bank, I was appointed as Head of Audit, KBB and involved in overseeing the Bank Merger System Project for Loans and Hire Purchase and assigned to assist Ernest Young (external consultant) conducting due diligence. I was one of the working committee members of the review panel on reviewing audit procedures and requirements.
