Following the successful launch of an Intranet, Digital Signage in multiple buildings, and a Store Communications platform, I have been moved to a more central IT role to focus on Empowering Enterprise-Wide communications. The Store Communications platform now in support has been removed from my portfolio and replaced with implementing an internal live streaming technology practice to broadcast leadership presentations. I have also been tasked with creating an IT Champions team to help directly communicate IT plans and training to the various departments throughout the company.

Lead efforts to enhance communications across the enterprise. Identify business opportunities surrounding communications and work with partners to determine the best technology solutions to address those needs and execute. Provide technical and business insight to foster open communication across the enterprise. Consolidate all existing SharePoint instances, distilling the existing implementations into a more focused and streamlined effort. Sunset the legacy DotNetNuke site and relocate engaging content. Mature the team’s processes by implementation an SDLC and an Agile Management strategy. Create and implement monitoring and DevOps capabilities. Evangelize improved communication and drive cultural change.

Brought in to sheppard the credit card systems through certification, I stayed on the team to help design and test key areas of the POS, and train the store staff to use the POS. Ultimately I was the only IT representative sent to the opening of the second store to ensure it's success.

Lately my focus has been on support management for our primary Inventory System from triaging incoming support requests, working with the users, and then scheduling the resources to resolve the issue.My past with GameStop has been lengthy, and I have worked on several teams during my tenure. Much of the existing systems I have either worked on, or been part of the project in some way, so I have an extensive knowledge of how disparate systems work together. This provides a critical advantage to troubleshooting and resolving issues.

During the official beta period, I submitted up to 24% of active defects and feature requests. I documented unique use cases for the development team to consider. I tested using a wide variety of browsers and systems to document issues. I also helped evangelize the product and assist new users with questions.

Being more responsive to the twitter community for the podcast has increased our listenership and twitter follower counts. I have answered questions, directed efforts to get guests on the show, and ensured the community was growing and engaging.
