As part of the General Henry “Hap” Arnold Lecture series, served as member of three-person panel presenting three perspectives on US Grand Strategy at the Washington State University. Participated in mil-to-mil activities in Sierra Leone and Guinea as part of the Regional and Cultural Studies Course on West Africa. Professional Studies Paper: "Using Continuity Planning Principles to Develop Alternate Processes for Space Services."

Business Continuity - Mission Assurance - Disaster RecoveryI led the National Continuity Planning project at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, focusing on the Agency's role in the larger continuity effort in the Intelligence Community and Executive Branch. I provided mission assurance support; identified essential functions; conducted risk assessment and analysis; developed corresponding multi-level countermeasures. I participated in design meetings and management reviews relating to the construction of a new data center. I also anticipated and implemented countermeasures for mission assurance issues related to Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) activities. I led planning efforts at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency for an Emergency Family Assistance Center, a multi-disciplinary operation involving aspects of family support, public affairs, mental health, and casualty affairs. My planning became the basis of similar planning efforts for the House of Representatives.
