Criminology and Criminal Justice Graduate | Legal Officer | Foster Carer.I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice (2:1) at De Montfort university in 2016. I secured a role within HMCTS (His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service) as a court clerk for social security and divorce and progressed naturally into a team leader role. I managed a team of 10 agents, overseeing their performance, training, and development. I worked with a multiple of stakeholders and streamlined processes, improved efficiency, and maintained high-quality service delivery.Presently I am a Legal Officer for the Mental Health Tribunal (HMCTS) and have delegated judicial functions to issue precedents in Mental Health cases. I contribute to the fair and just operation of the Mental Health Tribunal. My responsibilities include making decisions on legal matters, drafting and issuing judicial decisions and collaborating with judiciary and stakeholders to ensure proper legal procedures are followed. I advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals involved in mental health proceedings.My other passion in my life is my role as a foster parent. As a dedicated foster carer, I provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in need. I am passionate about making a positive impact on young lives and supporting their growth and development. I collaborate with social workers, educators, and healthcare professionals to address and advocate the unique needs of each child. I support children’s emotional, educational, and physical development and regularly attend training sessions and workshops to enhance my caregiving skills.
