My favorite part of being president of Amos Communications was the relationships I was able to build with employees and customers. I was honored to work with, manage and lead a group of energetic, creative, and talented people through some difficult challenges in the industry. The customers we worked with became friends. We learned about their businesses and gained an understanding of what we could do to help. In return our customers looked for ways to help us. When schedules were tight, we worked together to finish projects on time and on budget. I appreciate every day I was blessed to work with such an incredible group of people.Before I served as president, I worked in all areas of production, estimating, sales and production management, I took the opportunities to learn about the technical details of printing, the unique challenges the processes can generate and the solutions to those challenges.I became an expert in waterless printing and how it could be used to increase efficiencies as well as competitive advantages for Amos Communications and our customers. Amos Communications was one of a very few companies in the United States that brought the environmental benefits of waterless printing to the market. Waterless printing eliminated the need for water, chemicals and post use water treatment necessary with conventional printing. This also reduced the amount of energy consumed, reduced paper waste and increased the vibrancy and color gamut that could be produced as compared to traditional printing.
