I started working as a mechanical designer at Farassan Fiberglass Pipe Plant in 2000. In the same year, I was given a promotion and was transferred to Farassan Central Office where I continued my work in the field of design of high efficiency molded FRP axial flow fans for heat exchanger and cooling tower applications. I was promoted as the Executive Manager of the Fan Department at Farabard in 2004. In 2007, Farabard Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Plant was inaugurated with the purpose of constructing specialized machinery for fiberglass pipe production and I was appointed as head of factory. Under my management, Farabard achieved the title of “Outstanding Industrial and Exporting Unit” in 2010 and was commended by the Ministry of Industries and Mines. My biggest accomplishment, however, was in 2010, when I successfully designed the world’s largest hydro-test for Fiberglass Pipe.• Mechanical Designer with solid experience in 3D CAD modeling, FEA stress analysis, tolerance analysis, dynamic motion simulation, design optimization for manufacturing purposes, documentation packages and drawing sets• Strong analytical approach to mechanical engineering design, hand calculation, developing conceptual designs to detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, and increasing quality of production while reducing costs• Extensive background in fabrication, manufacturing, welding, hydraulic systems, machinery components and experienced with power tools such as turning and milling machines • Solid knowledge in material properties and applications, SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and Database• P.Eng in progress and updating education at BCIT in Bachelor of Technology in Manufacturing • 3+ years factory management experience
