Assessed the burden of disease caused by the three most common vector-borne illnesses in Panama; malaria, leishmaniasis, & dengue.Developed educational posters/flyers illustrating the signs, symptoms, and common prevention methods for the vector-borne illnesses, considering the social and economic determinants of health, culture and traditions of the indigenous populations in Panama.The posters and flyers are currently utilized by the Health Ministry of Panama for educational purposes

- Managed all aspects of a rural health clinic, in the village of Chikkar in Azad Kashmir, providing primary health care services to over 100 patients per day. - Lead the development of innovative screening programs to address the prevalent conditions of malnutrition, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and thyroid disease.- Educated over 300 patients about the benefits of using iodine infused salt for cooking at home. - Trained 20 paramedical staff on diagnosis and management of common diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and thyroid diseases. - Introduced a client-based medical records system for the clinic.

Flood Relief Efforts Pakistan 2010

- Conducted needs assessment to determine clinical needs and corresponding medical supplies at 150 + makeshift emergency clinics nationwide in often hostile and insecure environments.- Member of medical relief team deployed in the flood hit areas of Pakistan, providing emergency medical care to 200 + patients daily suffering from severe dehydration, malnutrition, waterborne diarrheal diseases, fungal skin infections, malaria, and cholera. - Designed and executed a strategic plan to control a cholera outbreak, which included quarantine and evacuating suspected patients to a tertiary care health center, resulting in containment of the outbreak.- Secured additional funding from new and existing donors to purchase medical equipment, medication, and other resources for flood affected internally displaced people. - Created a safe drinking water health education campaign for children in 50 villages.
