• Configured and implemented test environment, specifically for Veritas Netbackup for future installation in production environment.• Meet with DBA & Application users to review backup requirements.• Configure/Implement/Maintain all UNIX hot/cold backup requirements using ReelBackup and OmniBack for HP-UX 10.X/11.0, Oracle 7/8, Sybase 11.03/1192.• Troubleshoot all STK hardware and DLT 4000/7000/Wolfcreek tape issues.• Co-ordinate/plan/implement Disaster Recovery solution.• Stage Disaster Recovery tests in other states.• Manage tape libraries.• Working knowledge of Autosys and Control-M schedulers.• Create documentation and train Operations staff for overnight monitoring using ITO.
