Project(s) - 2X1 Combined Cycle Power Plant 1.Performed System Analysis using Load Flow, Short Circuit and Motor Starting modules in ETAP for various contingencies, equipment out-of-service and worst-case scenarios. Designed ratings for Medium and Low voltage electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear and Motor Control Centers (MCCs) while performing system analysis.Designed and analyzed Duct Bank layout for power cables using heating study steady state module in ETAP. 2.Designed transformer size and developed technical specification write-up for Unit Auxiliary Transformer.Also, assisted in bid evaluation which included technical analysis and selection of manufacturer. Involved in technical specification write up and DCS narrative for emergency diesel generator. 3.Prepared technical specification write-up of power, control and instrumentation cables and also performed cable sizing calculation study for medium and low voltage power cables. 4.Responsible for cable writing in SPEL which includes combustion and steam generators (Mitsubishi and GE) and various other systems spread across power plant. Interacted with vendors and reviewed electrical shop drawings.5.Designed interconnect and termination drawings for instruments, junction boxes and control panels using SPI. Prepared electrical schematic drawings for low voltage MCC buckets. 6.Designed Switchgear and MCC electrical one line drawings.Performed FAT for low voltage MCCs.7.Developed and maintained electrical load list and panel schedules. 8.Successfully designed lightning protection system using CSA and NFPA standards.
