My name is Bailey Allison and I am currently a Research Technician for the North Carolina State University, Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology. I am currently seeking an entry level research position in the field of science. I graduated in April of 2022 from the University of Michigan, where I studied Environmental Science with a focus in Conservation and Restoration. There, I developed a passion for working with plants and animals. Some of the courses that fascinated me the most were Ecology and Ethnobotany, where I completed a summer long research project and report on the dyeing properties of Rhus typhina at the University of Michigan Biological Station. Outside of the classroom, I participated in the Michigan Marching Band for all four years of college, where I played the tenor saxophone. I also participated in the Michigan Basketball Band, as well as the Michigan Backpacking Club.
