-Lead educational and training activities (scheduling, communications, design and delivery and evaluation) for external partners/providers.-Lead Minnesota’s DirectCourse contract, including strategic implementation and evaluation activities.-Analyze DSD training needs and developing training solutions to produce effective outcomes.-Lead DSD activities related to educational/training opportunities, conferences and events.-Participate in long and short term strategic planning for DSD and statewide training initiatives.-Ensure training documents are accessible and meet 508 and WCAG standards. -Assist with creation and remediation of training materials including PDF, slides, and tables. -Assure that training records and documentation is current and accurate.

-Taught CSI: 1100 College Transition Seminar in Fall 2021-Covered topics including time management, study skills, test preparation, and goal setting.

-Facilitate the interactive process to provide accommodations under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. -Co-Lead cross-functional groups including an Accessibility Action team committee.-Create accessible documents and media using Microsoft suite and OCR software.-Support the recruitment and retention of people with disabilities. -Collaborate across multiple teams to create an organization wide Accessibility Informed Events and Programming Guide.-Strengthened relationships with third-party vendors and lead organization wide bids for vendors for Deaf and Hard of Hearing services. -Oversee an inventory of Assistive Listening Devices including annual testing, purchasing, and writing check out procedures.

-Taught classes including Embodied Anatomy, Modern Dance, and Introduction to dance with a focus on individual learning styles and including inclusive pedagogical strategies. -Mentored students in Disability Studies and Mad Studies projects and supported the inclusion of disability arts and culture. -Coordinator of the spring dance concert and turned the format from an in-person event to a website format due to Covid-19.-Managed a student worker who edited multiple videos and materials.

-Worked one-on-one with a person who has disabilities giving daily living support and encouraging and documenting progress towards ISP goals. -Used a range of communication methods, followed by North Carolina Interventions regulations as well as confidentiality.

-Managed day-to-day operations including communication with customers, managing 10 employees, bookkeeping using Quickbooks, creating communication campaigns including website, email, and social media campaigns, and coordinating class schedules and space use.

Archival research in Disability and Dance specifically looking at the works of Martha Graham, Doris Humphry, and Ted Shawn. Research led to publication in Dance Research Journal December 2019.

-B2G was an institutionally funded pilot program serving students who were first-generation and Pell grant eligible. -Supported the planning phase of B2G and worked collaboratively with one other program coordinator to design and lead monthly workshops for a cohort of students designed towards mindset building, career preparation, and community bonding. -Held a caseload of 20 students meeting regularly throughout the semester to talk about career hopes and college strategies.
