I interned at Marsh during Summer 2021, following my junior year of college. I learned a lot about the insurance world as well as Marsh’s specific role in this industry. The internship involved two presentations, an individual and a group presentation. These two presentations focused on analyzing a company’s potential risk factors and providing solutions on how to manage those risks. Both these presentations involved tremendous preparation and research to give a successful presentation.

I interned during my sophomore year for a start-up called CultureU. This is a website where college kids can gain exposure and also have the opportunity for potential internships. As a member of the marketing team, it was my job to collaborate with my team to come up with ideas on how to market this website to our fellow students at Indiana, as well as, students at colleges across the US. One of my main jobs was to help run CultureU’s social media pages as a way to spread the word and connect with potential users of our website.

Worked as a camp counselor at Adventure Day Camp. Worked with kids from ages 5 to 14. I was in charge of my own group of 5-10 kids and led them through a series of activities such as sports and arts and crafts.

Sold day passes to customers and assisted the senior park aides with special projects such as making tags for upcoming campers, interacted with visitors to the park to ensure that they had the most enjoyable experience possible, communicated effectively with all of my fellow employees as well as the senior park aides, and learned to work in a group environment and made connections with the staff for future summer jobs and further opportunities
