Being the link between brand designers and production, I worked to translate their designs into faithful reproductions through digital printing onto fabric. To manage multiple projects at once, I crafted a digital color workflow for our team, organized and maintained a color library database, and documented the steps in an SOP for the team to reference and teach others. To demonstrate the capabilities of digital printing, I designed samples of photographic patterns to push the brand designers to think outside the boundaries of conventional printing. I lead instructions and presentations of the technology as the resident subject matter expert.

The majority of my time at the Innovation Center was focused around digital printing. This included research and understanding of inkjet technology, operating and maintaining direct to fabric textile printers, designing and file preparation for digital prints, and understanding RIP software and color management to execute designs. In addition to digital printing projects, I also worked closely with the consumer insights team, helping to identify product innovations that would benefit the end consumer. I was involved in performing several market research studies in the US, Europe, China and India.
