I hold a degree in Business Organizational Management with a specialization in Equine and Agriculture industries from the College of Central Florida. My career began in equine health and agribusiness, including roles as a Pharmacy and Veterinary Technician at Peterson Smith Equine Hospital and Inside Sales Representative for Animal Health International’s Production Animal Division. I also gained valuable experience through internships with Great American Insurance Group’s Agribusiness Division and the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' & Owners' Association.My work as a Hospitality Specialist and Agritourism Program Coordinator at Lakeside Ranches, LLC, allowed me to develop agritourism experiences that showcased agriculture, ecotourism, and land conservation. This role expanded my expertise in tourism and event planning.As the Tourism Program Coordinator at Visit Gainesville, Alachua County, I promote the region as a leading destination for meetings, events, and leisure. My work integrates my background in agriculture and hospitality to deliver programs and experiences that highlight Alachua County’s unique offerings and engage both visitors and residents.
