• Acted as lead for all membership communications, spearheading the strategic planning, design, messaging and execution of outreach to approximately 70,000 in-chapter members and 6,000+ volunteer leader network.• Responsible for all communications to SHRM chapters and state councils and at-large members (email, print collateral, website, online community, webcasts, etc.) Average open and click rates for these communications far exceed industry standards at 45 percent and 7 percent respectively. • Redesigned SHRM Volunteer Leader communications to simplify CTAs and communicate Affiliate business operational needs while building stronger connection and affinity with the SHRM brand. • Built Young Professional member journey supported by digital storytelling content like the Honest HR podcast, videos, member acquisition and engagement landing pages, leveraging member-generated content targeting audience through SMS, email, online community and more.• Produced, branded, promoted (via email, display ad placement and paid and organic social posts) and led the content strategy for the Honest HR podcast. As of Q4 2019, the podcast had 250,000+ listens.• Developed a new brand for all young professional communications and tested voice, language and products to existing and prospect members.

• Responsible for executing awareness campaigns regarding SHRM Foundation work, building familiarity and affinity among Affiliates and all members to generate donation revenue for Annual Campaign.• Built strategic communications/marketing plan for SHRM Foundation’s new strategy in 2017. Planned and executed marketing initiatives and calendar of outreach. Tactics included the creation of a series of videos to persuade key stakeholders to act.• Led brand refresh for the SHRM Foundation to align the brand with the new strategy around cause-based scholarships and solutions. This included all applications across the business and communicating these updates to internal and external stakeholders.• Managed SHRM Foundation website redesign through cross-departmental collaboration. Developed the style and application concept and UX recommendations for navigation. Website launched on schedule despite development setbacks, content was migrated in half of the originally allotted timeline to ensure launch date was accomplished.• Executed outreach campaign through email marketing, social media and traditional media strategy while developing marketing materials for chapters and state councils for SHRM Foundation brand ambassadors.

Took on the duties of Interim Executive Director of the Shakespeare Association of America for the 2014-2015 academic year. Managed Association staff, delegating responsibilities to best utilize the skills of employees. Carefully communicated with staff expressing the needs and priorities of the organization as well as the technologies used to execute new and existing initiatives. Planned the content for the 2015 Annual Meeting in Vancouver and successfully executed an Annual Meeting of 1,000+ attendees in April 2015.

Spurred organization growth over tenure by 25 percent. Tasked with completing three yearly publications disseminated to a membership of approximately 2,700. Planned all events for association's Annual Meeting. Completed a redesign of Shakespeare Association of America website with new navigational dynamic drop downs, banner, and content. Implemented a new membership database that serves to streamline the cyclical processes of an academic membership association.

Worked as the Acting Administrative Officer for the National Institute of Justice, completing all in- and out-processing of employees, worked with the Account Management Automation System, and facilitated completion of Freedom of Information Act requests. Compiled Advanced Notice Memorandums to be sent to the Attorney General for review of pre-publications, writing talking points and summarizing the findings and impact of the research and developments. Wrote concise copy for the dissemination of findings on the NIJ website.
