I currently work as a freelance, digital reporter where I write articles about music, art, and culture for a global digital community. My weekly project covers all of the latest electronic music releases that drop every Friday.

As a Marketing Assistant I am responsible for scheduling and organizing social media content that EH produces & working alongside various members on the EH team to push out news, music, and more info with a goal in mind to grow our socials and the artists we work with. Additionally, I am a part of the founding team for a new wide-scale marketing campaign that bridges content creators (both internal and external), labels, and artist teams.

As Towne's Marketing Associate, I spearhead all marketing campaigns. My primary duties are driving consumer growth, consumer engagement, and maintaining merchant relations. Additionally, I maintain a detailed marketing plan, develop and execute all marketing campaigns, manage our social media presence, and develop engagement and retention campaigns. Here are my key responsibilities, along with their respective platforms:- CMS (ie. Wordpress) - Advertising (ie. Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor)- Email Marketing Campaigns (ie. Mailchimp)- Metric Tracking (ie. Google Analytics)- Creative Design (ie. Adobe Suite, Canva)I report directly to, and work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer.

As the Creative Promotions Coordinator with Washington Hill Pictures' documentary, 'God Said Give 'Em Drum Machines' I managed all digital marketing campaigns and social media accounts. The documentary traces the origins of dance music back to Detroit and explores the musical history, while also granting recognition where it is due. In this role, I primarily designed branding campaigns, grew social followings, ran merchandise advertising, and created content for our channels.

MEMCO is a student run group of electronic music lovers, producers, and DJs. Over the past four years, I have worked with my fellow board members to curate lineups of professional and student DJs. We have established a plan and framework for event planning and promotion for bi-annual philanthropic events bringing in 200+ attendees and donating $3,000+ to local nonprofits. I created our collective Instagram account that has since amassed 1000+ followers, as well as having developed a social media outreach strategy to expand our professional music industry network. I have also written grants for our organization and have successfully acquired funding for our Black History Month Symposium Speaker Series, "Detroit Techno & Resistance," from the Office of Multicultural Initiatives for $1,180.

As the Course Content Writer, I was responsible for creating and curating content for the engineering course "Design Your Engineering Experience." This course is recommended for first year Michigan Engineering students and serves to provide a series of choose-your-own-adventure type modules that help students acclimate to navigating college. My role as a course content writer was to review existing resources to curate module content regarding various topics. This typically included selecting graphics, photos and videos to accompany the course site, as well as taking content and putting it into digestible and engaging writing. Some course modules I have written include, "How to Prepare for Faculty Office Hours," "How to Engage in Self-Reflection for Better Decision Making," and "The Importance of Diverse Understanding."

I worked as a PR/Marketing intern for The Borgen Project, a non-profit organization that works to fight global poverty, over the course of the 12-week internship session. I created a branding campaign, managed a focus group session, and mobilized others to contact Congress. I worked to get The Borgen Project shared on 5 different media outlets and I raised $540 for the cause.

For the Fall semester of 2017, I was a member of the Ross Career Development Student Ambassador team. This temporary position required me to help senior recruiters from various corporations with their on-site recruiting processes. This encompasses a variety of tasks including lecture hall set-up, presentation (ie. AV system) set-up, welcoming recruiters to the university, touring the Ross school building, and coordinating on-site interviews. Some of the companies these recruiters were from include Delta, P&G, SC Johnson, Amazon, and JP Morgan.

At TGA, I organized office records, answered potential new member questions, processed invoices, and facilitated registration. This role largely consisted of interacting with customers/gym members and being the direct point of contact for all questions. The key skills required by this role were organization, inter-personal communication, and fast, on-the-spot problem solving.
