My name is Bakari Bryant and I consider myself as being a highly qualified, knowledgeable and dedicated husband, father, educator, coach and mentor seeking to become a men's basketball coach on the collegiate level. I am happily married with four children. I’ve been employed by the Chatham County Board of Education for the past 13 years. I am currently the head boys’ basketball coach at Jenkins High School in Savannah, Georgia where I had the pleasure of providing and leading young men to higher level of success, rather it was winning a state championship in basketball or preparing them to become productive citizens beyond high school. It is an honor to have your attention as I share my intentions of what led me in this direction. I have positive role models in my family who are a part of this prestige educational and basketball fraternity. I have a better understanding of what it is to be in a successful coach. I admired what I see from many coaches throughout the world and I want to be a part of that. I want to be a part of an institution that provides hands-on opportunity in the world and communities. That gives our people hope in the community and provide them with sense of security knowing that there are still good men in this world. A institution that would value my professionalism and expertise which will enhance my qualities to continue the great work that is being done in communities across the world. In conclusion, I have a strong background in math in which I tutor students at Jenkins and other local high schools in Algebra I, Geometry and Advanced Algebra. My business degree and experience allow me to teach the importance of team work to the members in my basketball program and coaching staff and work in tandem with them to meet the program goals and objectives.I would like to thank my readers for your time.
